It’s tempting to throw up your hands and say you can’t do anything: you can’t fight the dark, you can’t make a difference, you can’t help.
BUT YOU CAN.
We don’t let the darkness win.
We do what we can, with what we have, where we are.
We fight.

Since 2009, my business has donated over $26,818 to Flying Kites, and I’ve spent a total of twelve weeks volunteering on the nonprofit’s campus in Njabini, Kenya.Flying Kites provides orphaned and under-served Kenyan children with care, schooling, and enormous heaps of love on a daily basis. I’m so proud to be a part of their ongoing work, where local kids are raised by local adults with astonishing results. Learn more about them here, or listen to my interview with founder Leila Chambers here.
